Patrick Lawson, a driver on route 26 based at Ash Grove, has won the Hello London Award for Outstanding Customer Service at Transport for London's (TfL's) annual London Bus Awards. Patrick received his award at a glittering reception held at City Hall on Thursday night.

The Hello London Award for Outstanding Customer Service is for a driver who excels at putting the passenger first at all times, understanding what customers expect from the bus service and going the extra mile to make sure those expectations are met. In the fourteen months since Patrick joined CT Plus, he has received an extraordinary 45 commendations from the travelling public.

Lawrence Wilson, Director of London at CT Plus said “We are genuinely proud of what Patrick has achieved. Whilst many of Patrick’s commendations are based on the warmth of his customer service, many others reflect the whole range of values, skills and approaches expected of a first rate professional – information, driving standards, problem solving – the complete package.”
